Gavin Hurren has now moved to Australia and will be playing over there next season.[6] It was later confirmed he had joined Sunshine George Cross in the Victorian Premier League.[7] There are also strong indications that Kettering Town winger Danny Thomas will be signing for the club in the coming days and Michael Wylde to move on.[8] Neil MacKenzie and Sebastian Lake-Gaskin agreed to stay with the club for the new season and as expected, Danny Thomas was announced as The Lambs first signing.[9] Although he was expected to leave for Kidderminster Harriers, Michael Wylde penned a 12 month deal, along with Jay Smith.

It was also confirmed that Jerome Murdock would not be offered a new deal by the club.[10] He later went on to join Northern Premier League First Division South side Barwell.[11] Michael Blackwood left the club to join Brackley Town.[12] Tom Marshall joins the club from Eastwood Town.[13] Michael Briscoe leaves the club to join Tom Shaw at Kidderminster Harriers.[14] Bradley Pritchard joins Hayes & Yeading United.[15] Mansfield Town striker Kyle Perry signs for the club.[16] Des Lyttle signing for the club on a non contract form.[17] Alex Rodman's move to League One side Notts County collapses, assistant manager Darron Gee urged Rodman to sign a new contract with The Lambs.[18] Aston Villa's reserve team goalkeeper, Benjamin Siegrist has joined The Lambs for the next two friendlies,[19] with a view to signing for the club on a season long loan.[20] Former Faroe Islands international player Claus Jørgensen joined the club on trial in hope of landing a place in the squad. Jørgensen worked with manager Gary Mills during his time at Coventry City.[21] Manager Gary Mills confirmed that last season's Player of the Year Danny Alcock wouldn't be returning for the season.[22] He later joined Nuneaton Town.[23] Rodman signs new contract with the club.[24] After agreeing to stay with the lambs for the season, Striker Nick Wright has moved on, by following in the footsteps of Tom Shaw and Michael Briscoe, by joining rivals Kidderminster Harriers.[25]

August

Port Talbot Town defender Scott Barrow agreed to join the club following a successful trial.[26] Notts County goalkeeper Dávid Gróf agreed to join The Lambs on a one month loan deal in time for the new season. It was also confirmed that trialists Claus Jørgensen, Aaron Farrell and Daniel Bradley were all part of the team for the new season.[27] Just six days later Gróf was recalled by his parent club.[28] The follow day Derby County goalkeeper Ross Atkins is brought in on a month loan deal.[29] With just three days remaining until the start of the new season, Mills confirmed that Claus Jørgensen had been released and Stefan Oakes had been brought in.[30] Jay Smith will be taking over as club captain for the 2010/11 season from former player Chris Smith.[31] Tamworth started there campaign with a convincing win over Eastbourne Borough 4–2 at home and found themselves top of the Conference National.[32] In the following game away at Newport County, defender Scott Barrow was knocked unconscious during the game. He was taken to hospital, but luckily did not break any bones but has soft skin damage and a swollen cheek.[33] The Lambs went on to sign former Chester City midfielder Ben Wilkinson following a trial at the club. It was also confirmed that Ross Atkins initial month long loan deal had been extended until January 2011.[34]

September

Striker Aaron Farrell is released following only two appearances as a substitute. Ben Wilkinson agrees a deal to stay with the club for the season.[35] Youth Goalkeeper Louis Connor has signed on non contract terms with the first squad and been handed shirt number 21.[36] Alex Rodman gets called up for England C squad for the friendly fixture away against Wales Under 23's. Former Nottingham Forest player Daniel Elliott joins the club following his release from Forest.[37]

October

Both Michael Wylde and Alex Rodman received a call up for the England C squad to face Estonia U23 on 13 October 2010.[38] The Lambs were drawn at home against Grimsby Town in the Fourth Qualifying Round of The FA Cup.[39] It was confirmed that manager Gary Mills and assistant Darron Gee were leaving the club to join York City. Des Lyttle took charge of the first team as caretaker player-manager.[40] The following day Lyttle brought in former West Bromwich Albion and Tamworth team mate Bob Taylor as a coach to assist him.[41] Due to an injury crisis at Derby County, Ross Atkins was recalled. Lambs brought in England U19 goalkeeper James Severn from The Rams.[42] Academy striker Troy Wallen has been handed the number 18 shirt vacated by Gary Mills.[43]

November

Following a win in the first round proper of the FA Cup against Crewe Alexandra, The Lambs were drawn away to League One side, Carlisle United.[44] Because of this, the away game against Eastbourne Borough was rescheduled from 27 November 2010 to 25 January 2011.[45]

James Severn was recalled by The Rams youth team and Ross Atkins was once again on loan with the club until January 2011.[46] Youth team strikers Alando Lewis and Troy Wallen were both sent out on loan to West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division side, Dudley Town for a month.[47] Former Darlington striker Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu joined the club on trial with a view to signing.[48]

Des Lyttle secured the signature of striker Bakary Bojang in time for the next league match against Cambridge United.[49] On the last day of the month, it was confirmed that Des Lyttle was going to take control of the first team on a full-time basis.[50]

December

Due to the bad weather conditions, Tamworth's home games against Newport County and Altrincham were cancelled.[51][52] Stefan Oakes left the club to pursue a playing/coaching career in the United States at a club based in New York.[53]

January

Leicester City striker Adi Yussuf joined the club on a month-long loan deal.[54] On 12 January, Derby County agreed to let goalkeeper Ross Atkins stay with The Lambs until the end of the season.[55] Former Sheffield Wednesday Academy player Jason Bradley joins the club from Brackley Town. Bakary Bojang was released following less than two months with the club.[56] English-born Sierra Leonean international footballer Malvin Kamara joined the club following seven days training with the club.[57] Alex Rodman and Michael Wylde once again receive an England C call up.[58] Leading goalscorer Alex Rodman leaves the club to join League Two side Aldershot Town for an undisclosed fee.[59] Former Nottingham Forest Academy player, Jevaise Christie signs for the club from Arnold Town.[60] Sebastian Lake-Gaskin joins Leamington on an initial one months loan.[61] Abdillahie Yussuf agreed to extend his loan with the club for another month, keeping him with the club until the end of February. Also the club appealed against Jason Bradley's red card against Rushden & Diamonds.[62]

February

Wrexham's highly rated Welsh under 19 goalkeeper Daniel Ward was brought in on a one match emergency loan deal. Stuart Hendrie also joined the club on loan from Morecambe. Dale Belford signed on an non contract basis with the club.[65] Academy goalkeeper Louis Connor joined Halesowen Town on loan to gain match experience.[66] Christian Smith joins the club until 30 April on an emergency loan from Wrexham.[67] Registrations for Malvin Kamara, Troy Wallen and Alando Lewis were cancelled.[68] On the last day of the month, Neil MacKenzie left the club.[69]

April

Striker Stuart Hendrie rejoined Morecambe following his one month emergency loan.[70] Manager Des Lyttle leaves the club with just four games of the season remaining.[71] It's believed that Lyttle vacated his position as he felt it was untenable after claiming the club's board tried to bring in former York City boss Martin Foyle as an adviser for the remaining four games.[72]
